Consistency from an end user perspective is actually not a primary outcome, right? The goal of just making good products is for people to get done what they're trying to get done. So it's less about like, we're just trying to create interfaces that just look totally the same across the board. But designers like to go there just because it's this whole, oh, design doesn't matter anymore.
