The Austin Bombings
The bombings started two hours after Ted Shaughnessy was killed. Anthony Staphon House picked up a package left on the front porch of his home in Northeast Austin and it exploded before he opened it. At the time, Austin police did not rule out terrorism, but did not believe it to be the cause. The 17-year-old Draylin Mason and his mother excitedly opened the package on their kitchen table that had been delivered overnight. This seemed like a targeted attack.
