Islam is a journey it's not some kind of stasis so one tries to be a convert every day yeah I mean I'm very critical of that word converted it sort of buys into the modern attitude of quantity right all right you know I've converted I'm done I am x y and z and that is how I identify yes. We can't really claim we have a fixed and clear identity we interact so much in a kind of osmotic and probably benign way with the environment around us, he says.
