Weird Al's Songwriting Split

You're the first guy I've ever interviewed that had Weird Al do one of his songs. How does a songwriting split go on that? When you get paid for Jeopardy music, melody line, and then he's on the lyrics? Yeah, it's 50-50. "I am flattered that you're being parodied because it means that I'm well enough known to be parody" You played on Saturday Night Live with Don Pardo when he was still alive. What year was that in the cast? Oh God, that was gonna say 85 or so.
