Your brain interprets this as pain in radiating down your arm. So you don't actually have any tissue damage in the arm or jaw or chest. You've got tissue damage at the heart. That's right. And with it, it can sometimes mix up with this other sensory somatic experience that you're having at the same time. The reason why I'm saying this is you might have a patient present with chest pain. But that doesn't really tell you anything. By asking certain questions, you might be able to better understand why that pain is being brought on.
