The SMP's Success After Brexit
When Britain went into the common market, when it joined the EU in 1973, the SMP was against joining. So that put its position on Europe has changed completely in the last period. And here's another paradox because there was this huge rise in support for independence. Not immediately after Brexit, but after Boris Johnson was elected prime minister on that big getBrexit done platform. It would be very hard for Scotland to rejoin the EU and maintain the same trading relationship with England - which is a completely open one.
