In some ways there is a fairly direct line because obviously Thompson's books comes up 1963 and that feeds forward into the kind of counter cultural moment. And so let's take for example the occupy movement occupy doesn't necessarily fully consciously invoke things like the freeborn Englishman but the very name itself immediately says, well you know there's something about occupying space that's an important political idea. So again they too, along with groups like the right to Rome or landscapes of freedom or another group land in our name which wants to connect the idea of black people and people of color getting better access to land.
