The Year of Jubilee

There's zero evidence in the Bible or in historical record that the Jews ever actually practiced the year of jubilee. Not once. Go figure, right? God gives us an instruction and we didn't follow it. So they had this instruction in the Old Testament that every 50 years they were supposed to forgive everyone's debt, let all the slaves free, and give everyone back their land. That was the other thing. You weren't supposed to work for the year ofJubilee. And Jesus came and said, I've come to declare that the year of the Lord's favor has come. It's here now.
