Insect Friendly Habitats

We have about 22 million gardens that cover an area of 400 thousand hectaires. Just imagine if they were all am full of insect friendly flowers, native wild flowers. If the lawn wasn't cut too often and there was a little bee hotel,. maybe an earwig hotel, a pond for dragon flies - this is one thing we can do. We can invite insects and other wild life into our cities. The bigger challenge is what to do about farming. In the u k, 70 % of britan is farm land. Most of that is real quite hostile to life these days. And i argue that we need to fundamentally change the way we grow food.
