Is There a Difference Between Asylum and Economic Migrant?
Most of the migrants are economic migrants who just want to be here to work. Some don't have court dates for two to five years, so that once they say the word asylum, they get to go through that process. They can't legally work while they're claiming asylum, so they have to work under the table. The messaging that's getting back is kind of crossing wires, and it it's not necessarily the correct messaging.
