Is the US Building a Firm Coalition?
I don't know that the United States is going to succeed long term in assembling an anti-China coalition. But it seems to me at least in the first few months of this year and the last few months of last year that they have had some success. There isn't the kind of a coalition that I think American officials are hoping for, which is a bifurcated world into two spheres. The largest onshore source of onshoring in not just Southeast Asia, but also Latin America and even in Mexico are the Chinese.
