The Sin of Sloth
St. Gregory of the Great and then received by St. Thomas Aquinas said that a capital vice gives rise to other vices. And so far as if you welcome certain capital vices like pride envy anger sloth avarice gluttony and lust they often give rise to other sins. So it's the sense that we want to be vigilant for how sin might creep in or crop up which is to say okay God is giving me the grace to confront this and that grace is fruitful I believe in it I hope in it I love it all right so what does it look like.
