The History of the Dominican Republic

The Dominican Republic was very nearly a state like It came within a hairs breath of being part of the United States Probably would have been wound up more like Puerto Rico is in terms of like its legal status. We are absolutely central to everything that has happened in the history of the Dominican Republic and Most of us are not aware of it, right? That's I think the normal amount of knowledge most Americans have which is fucked up because we've caused a lot of problems over there.
