The Relationship Between Insulin and Your Hormones

When people have low cortisol levels, it's often associated with lethargy, fatigue, depression, anxiety and very negative emotional states. We don't really run out of adrenaline because the body will just metabolize itself until it gets it. In fact, when our insulin levels are too high or too low, research shows that it is one of the most powerful stimulators of the sympathetic nervous system in the fight or flight response. So we have to realize there's strong emotional connections to this.
