The command palette in VS Code has like quickly become my favorite browser feature ever. The command shift P will give you a list of all of your tabs, but it will show you the working directory last time that that session had run the git status. And I do kind of wish, maybe I could set this up to be my own different keyboard shortcut. If you're the type of person who's keyboard focused rather than clicking on gooey's or remembering keyboard shortcuts, just about everything's in here.
