Is That Bias?
In 2011, Dan Richard wrote a letter to the editor about high-speed rail in Japan. He says bullet trains were probably one of the safest places for people during that earthquake. The Los Angeles Times didn't publish his story because it was too "biased," he says. Daniel: This isn't just a reporter who doesn't particularly like high-speed train. It's really weird. And I'm disappointed in the LA Times for letting this go on for so long.
