A New Direction for Istio
Istio is looking at standardizing new ways to do connect. Currently it's limited to t c p because we're doing it over a t c p stream. The reason mask is able to tunnel r ip and r u d p is its based on quick, which is also called hp three. And quick sends traffic with u d p packets rather than t c p streams. So you can much more comfortably send packetis traffic rather than bite streams.
