The Department of Justice's Superseding Indictment

The Department of Justice originally charged four executives and they had reached out to Wendy and myself about the possibility of doing a interview with our client prior to that indictment. And then later four executives were charged, not including our clients. So we were feeling pretty good that this had passed us by as did everybody else who was not one of those four. Several months later, I got a call telling me that there was now a superseding indictment on the public docket and they were now charging 10 executives. They had added six defendants without so much as a courtesy phone call to let us know that a new indictment had come down and that it included our client. Now, it's crazy, right?
