Blackbeard and the Flying Gang
In 1700 the English Crown passed a law to crack down on piracy in its American colonies. With these new harsh measures Atlantic piracy nearly vanished but not for long. 15 years later pirates are once again marauding around the Caribbean and up and down the Atlantic coast. Among them was one captain who went by many names, but would soon be known and feared by one in particular Blackbeard.
