The Importance of Understanding the Unit Level Economics of a Business
The unit level economics on more mature cohorts in the business are actually very, very strong. And so sometimes it's more than what meets the eye or what you could grasp quickly taking a look at an income statement. We've got to do the work and we've got to really understand the dynamics at play for each business. That can really tell us a lot about the quality of the business. It is about the numbers, but it's not easy to do.
