I Think the Contract Labor Model Is a Good Idea
The typical adjunct in the us. Makes less per semester, per class, per semester, than i make per week. That's how bad their pay is, um. And ah, like, what happens is the unit, that department, will get all this money. So effectively, you have these, like, low paid people who teach these classes that you don't want to teach. I do think t there's something shady about that, m and it's worrisome. But on an hourly basis, there may be getting paid something like 33 % less,. when you compare like, full time, like adjuncts to people who spend their time doing teaching right?
