The Hermeneutical Tools of Fylo
Fylo is closely reading with Septuagint. He probably did not have fluency in Hebrew. But what's interesting is that we do have traditions found in Fylo that do resurface in later me, Drashik tradition. And so what Fylo was doing as an interpreter is not merely exposition but he is also drawing from lessons and traditions that he has heard and learned again as a Greek speaker.
