The Problem With the Tax Shelter in Canada
A lot of our tax benefits actually accrue to the wealthy and not to the poor. And I didn't think about it a lot until what he really brought up in this book that shocked me. Things that we don't think about are all tax shelters that disproportionately benefit those who already have financial assets. The system is now designed that because I've made that jump in socioeconomic classes, I now occupy a class and the system's designed to keep me rich.
