The word na say is the only word coined by lever that has survived into the english we speak today. There is some evidence that the modern version of nasay actually developed at a later date independently of lever's usage. Other writers also took up this mantle. The great elizabethan poet, edmund spencer, wrote most of his works in the last couple of decades of the 15 hundreds and he also championed plain english words.
