Nike's SB Dunk was one of the most important shoes of the early 2000s. For a while, they were going for like a thousand bucks, 2,000 bucks. Now you can't find a pair for under 100 grand. It's really no different than any other stock or flipping crypto or anything like that. There's no rhyme or reason. Typically sneakers tend to always creep upwards until Nike decides to re-release a shoe and it's just not cool anymore.
