The History of Rome

The Pisoian conspiracy represented a very real threat to Nero. Scared out of his wits that now everyone was out to get him, an increasingly paranoid Nero re-initiated indiscriminate treason trials. Next time, we'll hop back and forth between the final stages of Nero's reign and the great revolt that erupts in Judea in 66 AD. But before we take off into that next phase of Roman history, as some of you have already noticed, the history of Rome will be going off the air for about four weeks after September 13th episode.
