Obirgón's Presidency

The Mexican Revolution is really like that. And even though Obirgón and his Sonoran allies are ultimately what got spit out the other side, it's not like they couldn't have been swept right off again. For the entirety of the 1920s, armed revolts against the central government continued to erupt. The only major difference is that this time the new regime managed to survive. It was without question their single greatest accomplishment.
