The study involved daily stretching, lasting for one hour a day. Subjects were instructed on a one to ten pan scale to stretch to the point of an eight. And essentially that's what they found. Over those six weeks of stretching, the stretch legs experienced an increase in a calf muscle thickness of about 15%.
