The Drop in Trust in the News in the UK
In the UK we've got a huge variance by brand so overall Trust in the news in the UK that about 34% of people sort of trust it. The one I kind of missed from the Royce report is how big the dropping trust of the BBC is being. In 2018 75% of respondents said they trusted the BBC's coverage that dropped to 55% in 2022 And that's that's been the biggest node to drop. So if you're the son 60 67 percent of people don't trust its output only 11 percent do.
