I think the kind of pop meaning of nihilism is that there is no meaning, nothing matters and maybe we should be depressed or hedonist. He's making a diagnosis here of culture, yes. And Nietzsche would say, it's almost impossible to avoid because that's part of what a very cultural is. This is something we were talking about before. Like, you know, as we create new forms of Christianity through new ideologies like wokeism, they can turn out just to be more nihilism.
