The Opportunist Stage

Toddlers and kids tend to be very selfish, in the sense that e they're not considerate of the agendas of other people. The self here is still not fully differentiated. Other people at this stage are seen as objects to gratify one's needs,. Not as people who have their own needs. There can be adults at this stage, but if they are here, they probably have severe mental handicaps or deficiencies.
