Dr. Raymond Moody is a psychiatrist who coined the term near-death experience all the way back in 1975 when he wrote his seminal book called Life After Life. He's since written over a dozen books on consciousness existing beyond the physical body. Mark Sertome: I was so excited when my producers told me that you consented to this interview because I think you bring such a unique perspective to this conversation of consciousness and I'm hoping that you may actually be able to fill in some blanks in my personal understanding of what consciousness is.
