A Devil Barkle Settlement in Tensa
Sudan is one of the most important archaeological sites in ancient Egypt. The site has been visited and worked on for 200 years, but nobody had systematically looked for an urban settlement that would have been needed to support a temple at el kuru. A new study by geophysics professor gregg tucker found mud brick structures which date back to the first century B.C. But they are not large enough to form a big mound so it's unclear what their purpose was.
