What Draws You to Ancient Greece?

I think that ancient Greece, particularly Athens and Sparta, are just like a fascinating sort of Petri dish. They're kind of like our era, but on a much smaller scale where things are clear and you can kind of see it,. It's not as confusing as it is. And the ancient Greeks had what I think is a really clear-eyed view of what human nature is about. So, and I just, I love the prose from those days, you know? If you read Thucydides, if you read Xenophon, if you reading Plato, if youread Plutarch, it's just a lucid, clear, great prose.
