How to Heal From Trauma
If you and your partner are working together to heal from trauma, it's extremely beneficial to seek professional help. Don't do numb, ignore, distract, project your own emotions on others. Your emotions need to be acknowledged and work through. And then you might want to work with a professional to find healthy coping skills and outlets for the painful emotions that flow from it.
