After high school, it took me two years to flunk out of college. Upon flunking out in 1966, I was working up the Yosemite National Park. And my dad has sent me a letter saying, hey, that's it. You're going to get drafted. So I read the book and I said, you know what, if I'm going to go, if I can get in with these guys, that'd be a great challenge. If I can do that, that's the way I want to go.
