The History of the Basement Discipleship
The leaders of our church flowed out of our basement, most of them. In fact, I was in a park recently near our home and I ran into a couple that have been in our basement for a year. They said to me: Pete, do you realize that the basement saved our marriage? So I'm going to talk about the history of how we even got to the basement discipleship. And then I want to extend an invitation to you as well to begin to work out in your context what it might look like to do a real discipleship in the basement.
