Are We Making Less Good Stuff?

I think social media is drowning out the good stuff. I'm not saying that there's no good bein made, quite the contrary. But i think this is useful time to talk l bit more about the gift and market economies. There are some things that are too portant to be sold in the market economy. Where we need to invest in something that may lead to absolutely nothing. That's a terrible business proposition. It could produce discoveries that take us giant leaps forward as a race. And similarly in the arts, you really don't know what you're getting from an artist or musician who changes society for the better. Like those musicians have existed?
