The Hero's Journey

The hero's journey is a metaphor for this hemispheric transition. To get to the other side, you do literally have to face your greatest fears to follow your that is the dragon that joseph campbell was talking about through all this. The implication from doism is that if you managed to surrender to your interests, your life would work out better than any other way. It just wasn't going to work out, necessarily, in the way that you expected it to.
