Did the Covet Crisis Give You an Opportunity to Defend Yourself?

Would there have been global lock downs and base a somewhat similar global response to this pandemic in any earlier era? And i think the answers no. It would have been localized to where there were hot spots. The silver lining here is that the american federal system, by which, of course, we mean the relation shiin the states ad the federal government, turns out to have been way, way healthier than i thought it was.
