Lost Highway

Lost Highway is about how Los Angeles is in many ways an awful place. David Fosster Wallace had issues with the casting of Richard Pryor, which he said made him think Lynch wasn't such a nice person. He's referring to the fact that Pryor at that point in his life was just not well, right? And he kind of looks like he's sort of just a ruin. But no, I mean, these purposes in Lost Highway are truthful.
