The Story of Colonel Sanders

Harlan David Sanders was the eldest of three children. His father worked their 80-acre farm before becoming a butcher. When he was five years old, his widowed mother took a job at a local canning factory. By the year 1900,Sanders had proven himself ready to start contributing to the family financially. But when an older man caught him lazing in the grass and fired him, it all fell apart for Harlan.
