This idea that we have been decarbonizing very fast in the ucape really doesn't stand up to scrutiny. And when you see what's, what's omitted from that, you know, aviation omissions and all the rest of it, you know it it's an accounting slight of hand. The whole idea of the individual carbon footprint is a mystifying and deliberately misleading term. I call this the climber we. It's something i call in my book, blame the dame.
As the COP26 global climate summit takes place, many are asking who is really responsible for the climate emergency and who might be able to prevent it? Dr Anne Karpf is a writer and sociologist whose recent book, How Women Can Save the Planet, looks to analyse some of these questions in more granular detail.
