Deutsch: It's entirely possible that we will never reach an actual true theory in science. In fact, it may even be impossible. I think Deutsch was kind of hinting at that as a possibility. And I could explain to you using some of Tiplier's theories how that could turn out to be true. But we don't know, right? It might be possible to have final theories. Also you can improve final theories in another way. You can integrate them with other theories or you can improve how they're worded or how well they're taught. There's all sorts of ways that even if you had a final theory, you could continue to progress with it forever
