Is There Any Real Free Will in Our Universe?
According to all we presently know about the laws of nature, free will just doesn't make any sense. If those theories are correct, then there's nothing in principle that would prevent us from also creating a universe. The reason is that if you have an expanding space time, it basically creates its own energy. So energy is not is not conserved. It's as simple as that. You can estimate how much mass you'd need to create a new universe. And it trns out to be something like ten kilograms. That's not all that much, except that you have to bring this, those ten kilograms into a state that is very similar to the conditions in er the early universe.
