The Tapestry of Cultures in New Caledonia
New Caledonia is a flyover every time I go to America. It really feels like this place that's a melting part of these different people and different experiences and perspectives and histories. That was the goal all along. And it's also very romanticized, like an idealized version of the actual place because we were designing it through that prison of childhood. You know, it's told you're playing as a kid and through child's eyes.
