Cognitive functional therapy targets the unhelpful cognitions, behaviors and lifestyle factors that help people get back to living. It's not as simple as being broken up into three sections but broadly speaking it's around giving people this idea of helping make sense of why they hurt so much. The ultimate goal for you is to forget that you even have a back. That might be with that new movement pattern that we've found is more comfortable for you then eventually keep working on that and eventually that become automatic and non-conscious self.
