The Importance of Acceptance With Exercise
Exercise teaches you to accept your physical and genetic limitations. The primary driver behind exercise was when I first started build muscle, how strong am I? How do I look? Now I still like those things, don't get me wrong, but they're not the prime drivers anymore. All the stuff we're talking about, especially the mental health for me is the main driver. If I had some problem where I lost tons of muscle and strength and I couldn't really build that with exercise, I'd still work out because of all those other benefits.
