The Urge for Repudiation
The idea that we're a polarized nation, I think it's baloney. The public is not one. It's many. It's mutually hostile. But there's the unifying tendency, which is the urge for repudiation. So as long as you don't mention any positive program, which would immediately divide you, all right, you can unite against.
