I'm glad Indy and time travel followed that set of rules. I started to get afraid as the film went on that like everyone was going to get a turn with the dial. This movie is already a little too long for my taste. They definitely spent a lot more time with the supernatural stuff than I think any other indie movie, you know,. Raiders of the Lost Ark you open the box and he doesn't even look at it faces melt. It's like two minutes or so. Last crusade you have Donovan turning to dust. That happens pretty fast. Temple to doom. You have the human sacrifices in the voodoo but it just wasn't as insane as something like time travel.
